Hayley Russell, PhD is an assistant professor of sport and exercise psychology at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Her research focuses on the psychology of sport-related injury, lifelong physical activity in former athletes, and the psychology of running including Strava use in runners, and the relationship between anxiety and GI distress in endurance athletes. Hayley is also a Certificated Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) and enjoys consulting with Division III athletes and runners.
