I have participated in athletics throughout my life and have been an injured athlete myself. Interacting with athletic trainers as a high school athlete drew me to the profession of athletic training. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed working with active people and taking them from the initial injury all the way through to return to sport. In my current role I am lucky that I can see patients through their recoveries and return to the activities that they love and play a crucial role in educating the patient on their injury, setting expectations, and reaching goals.
