Dr. Alison Doherty is a Professor with the Sport Management program in the School of Kinesiology, Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. She also volunteers as an Assistant Coach with the Western Mustangs Track & Field Team, a varsity program she has been involved with for most of the past 29 years. Read more about Dr. Doherty

Her session at the WCS will focus on the development of social capital for women coaches, through both bonding and bridging connections with other coaches, support staff and stakeholders, and its impact on women’s attitudes and action in the coaching environment.
