Kinzee Salo

The Tucker Center, University of Minnesota

Mikinzee Salo is a Masters student at the University of Minnesota, studying Sport Sociology. She is a Graduate Assistant in the Tucker Center and the Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Since joining the coaching staff in 2016, she has helped St. Kate’s continue their success in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), as they have qualified for the conference playoffs the past 8 consecutive years. Salo spends her summers as a supervisor at Tennis and Life Camps at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota where she teaches on court, educates staff campers on gender equity and sport, and leads campers through mental training techniques. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology graduating from St. Catherine University in 2016. Her passions include teaching, coaching and inspiring young girls to be the best version of themselves they can be. She hopes to continue to coach and be a strong female role models for her current and future athletes.
