Betsy Butterick: The Coaches’ Coach & Communication Specialist
During her playing and coaching careers Betsy experienced first-hand why the buzzword most often associated with successful teams is “chemistry”. Chemistry is grounded in connection, and the heart of connection is communication. As a communication specialist Betsy helps individuals become more conscious of their communication while developing the skills to support success at all levels of team.
As "The Coaches' Coach" Betsy utilizes dynamic and creative methodologies to focus on client priorities while developing long term excellent behavior that is both self-generating and self-correcting. As a former coach with experience in DI, DII, DIII and the WNBA Betsy knows the landscape, understands the profession, and has the skills to serve the athletic community at the highest level.
Betsy’s experience in workshop design and facilitation has led her to speak on many stages, including the Women’s Basketball Final Four and with the WBCA’s “30 Under 30” honorees, Dan Tudor’s National Collegiate Recruiting Conference, Ohio University’s Global Coaching Symposium, and at the NCAA Women Coaches Academy as a faculty member for the Alliance of Women Coaches.
