Student-athlete mental health is a common issue all coaches deal with, often with very little training or knowledge on the subject. Coaches have a role in supporing athlete mental health and Emily O'Hara will provide practical strategies and best-practices to help this process.
Emily O'Hara, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Care Manager in the Office for Student Affairs at the University of Minnesota, has been added to the WCS line-up! She will give a breakout session titled: Supporting Student-Athletes in Distress: We All Have A Role.
